Cameron Olthuis critiqued a whole bunch of web 2.0 sites on a combination of design and usability aspects, placing more importance on the usability aspect. Focused more on sites that provide a good community oriented experience, designs that encourage people to participate. After all, that’s the staple of what “web 2.0″ is.

The internet today is full of webmasters that are always updating, editing, changing and even deleting web pages. If people are finding your old pages when querying in these search engines, and they attempt to go to that page that has been deleted or moved, they will get a "404 File Not Found" Error! Now no webmaster wants that!

Microsoft has offered to bundle the Flash Player in Vista in exchange for being able to have "Save as PDF" as part of Office 2007. If this goes through, without hidden tricks, it will essentially cut out Microsoft's leverage in the RIA market by making Flash Player 9 (for use with Flex 2) as ubiquitous as WPF/e for RIA deployment.

Yahoo Video, previously offering content found only by crawling the web, now has changed to also allow uploads from content owners, similar to services that YouTube and Google Video offer. I'm disappointed that the product isn't integrated into Flickr, or iPod.
